Over the weekend some people were able to finally activate there new iPhone 3G and upgrade current 1st gen iPhones to firmware version 2.0. While everyone is in search of SPEED, Apple seemed to disappoint some on July 11th during the big rollout/release of the iPhone 3G and iPhone firmware 2.0. The Apple iTunes servers suffered and we believe it could not take the load of new activations and firmware 2.0 updates all at once.
Was Apple ready for this rollout or where they hoping people wouldn’t mind if they has some minor bugs keeping them from activating their new $199 or $299 gadget purchase?
Did you have any luck activating your new iPhone 3G? Did you have any issues upgrading to firmware 2.0 on the 1st generation iPhone? Could you really care less about the iPhone?
