So where was Microsoft Excel during the conception of apps for the iPhone or iPod touch?

Others will go on without MS Excel for the iPhone and be just as happy because someone else has filled the gap. Who needs MS Excel right? Well, wrong… Softalk Ltd has released a new spreadsheet application for the iPhone simply called “Spreadsheet” which is now available on the iTunes app store for $7.99. The application is explained as being a comprehensive spread sheet program for the iPhone that is feature packed including cut and paste. Yes, you can actually cut and paste cells within the application. That alone has our attention.

Other features of the new Softalk Ltd Spreadsheet application include the following:

• Cut/copy/paste with single cells or ranges of cells, rows and columns
• Cell formatting (bold, italic, color size and alignment)

• Functions
