Some of us have had a chance to see a fake iPod or maybe read about them online. Well, what about a fake counterfeit iPhone? Yes, they have fake iPhones in China which are poor examples of the real iPhone. Shown in the images on this post are several examples of fake “iClone” iPhones mainly from China. It seems most of them run a “bootleg” version of windows mobile or what appears to be Windows mobile from the splash screen that it displays upon start-up. Many sites have sold these devices for much less than the real Apple iPhone and have legitimately gotten away with it.

Many of us have heard about the recent Pystar Mac Clone company attempting to sell clones of Macs. Will they get sued by Apple or will they voluntarily pay Apple for each sell they make to stay out of jail? Either way Apple is not going to stand for it. This is a little different with some of the counterfeit iPod’s and fake iPhones. Apple does not like to see it but it seems to be some type of stipulation or loophole because the fake iPod’s and iPhone’s are legitimately sold online or at your local flea market. This may be mainly due to the fact that they do not have the same operating system or hardware. Maybe you can be the judge and let us know what you think about the fake iPhone’s and what you predict will happen.
