A Chinese developer has come up with an application for the iPhone where the iPhone uses handwriting recognition just like on the Palm OS and Windows mobile/CE devices. This is very interesting and goes to show how what the iPhone is capable of. The iPhone clearly has a lot of potential especially with the SDK giving developers the ability to bring the iPhone’s POWER to the forefront. iPhone users who have hacked their iPhone via Installer.app can download this program. We are certain that they will update the program to work out all the bugs but for now the beta version should be available.

Remember the old days of the Apple Newton and how it could take your no-so-sloppy handwriting and convert it into regular computer text. The old handwriting recognition is making its way onto the iPhone at last. Of course we all knew the iPhone could handle this. Maybe they should add a stylus and see where that takes them.
