Some of us have had a chance to see a fake iPod or maybe read about them online. Well, what about a fake counterfeit iPhone? Yes, they have fake iPhones in China which are poor examples of the real iPhone. Shown in the images on this post are several examples of fake “iClone” iPhones mainly from China. It seems most of them run a “bootleg” version of windows mobile or what appears to be Windows mobile from the splash screen that it displays upon start-up. Many sites have sold these devices for much less than the real Apple iPhone and have legitimately gotten away with it.

A Chinese developer has come up with an application for the iPhone where the iPhone uses handwriting recognition just like on the Palm OS and Windows mobile/CE devices. This is very interesting and goes to show how what the iPhone is capable of. The iPhone clearly has a lot of potential especially with the SDK giving developers the ability to bring the iPhone’s POWER to the forefront. iPhone users who have hacked their iPhone via Installer.app can download this program. We are certain that they will update the program to work out all the bugs but for now the beta version should be available.

One of Sega’s new games being developed via the iPhone SDK is Super Monkey Ball. Sega’s producer talks in depth about the iPhone and iPod touch’s significance in the gaming world with the new games that will be released. Super Monkey Ball is a very nice game that capitalizes on the iPhone and iPod touch’s built in accelerometer. It is virtually revolutionary and the Sega producer things this will prompt more sales of the iPhone and iPod touch just because of games like this.
