So the new rumor mill is out and the tally’s are in. Has Apple sold over 10 Million iPhones since the iPhone’s beginning?
The Mac Observer’s Apple Finance Board has tracked a number of iPhones sold by tracking a select few using the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number for some new iPhone 3G’s since June when they first shipped. A spreadsheet was created to demonstrate certain iPhone 3G’s by IMEI number as to what number (how many sold) each particular iPhone (as sold) was.
Although the numbers as shown do not add up to over 10 million but taking into consideration of the error margin of how many iPhone 3G’s are still in inventory waiting to be shipped or the unites that were returned, destroyed or unsold which may total to around 1.5 million.
October 21st will mark the date that the tally is official when we hear it straight from Apple when they report earnings and such.
Do you think Apple is immune to the slumping economy? Will they still come out on top despite all of the financial hardship in America?
