Why revisit this topic that has been beaten like a dead horse? Well, maybe this time because it has been confirmed by an Adobe engineer. Adobe is building a Flash player just for the iPhone. The new player will be an app built into Apple’s Safari browser that ships with the iPhone.
What does this mean for you if you have an iPhone? Simply put, you will be able to view flash enabled websites and flash content including non-Youtube videos. Apple went out of it’s way before to just enable the ability for the iPhone to play back Youtube videos but did not bother with other flash content. Now Adobe has taken the lead and plan on having a new Flash app out for the iPhone. No specific date has been set yet but once we find out we will let you know!
